This year is soaring by, and here we are in May, nearly halfway through 2023. May flowers are in full bloom, a beautiful sight we have not seen in several years of drought. I want to start by wishing all the amazing, strong, and loving women in our lives a very happy belated Mother’s Day!
I also want to take this opportunity to thank all the dedicated nurses out there that we celebrated during Nurse’s Week. Day-in and day-out, you work on the frontlines keeping our communities safe and healthy. Thank you! If you entered our drawing for one of the cool Nurse’s Week prize packs, keep an eye or ear out to see if you won.
Last month we celebrated Youth Month by encouraging our younger members to save. They received entries into the raffle by depositing $25 or more into their youth account, submitting an Upward Andy coloring page, or posting a picture with their personal Andy figure on their social media using their hashtags #UpwardCreditUnion #UpwardAndy #CUyouthmonth. If you have not picked up your personal Upward Andy figure, you can pick one up at our main office for free for future raffles.
As we start to think about summer and the possibility of a vacation, now is the perfect time to check out our 8.5% APR¹ personal loan. This is a great alternative to those pesky high-interest credit cards that you may use for vacation or other summer activities. Don’t worry, we have you covered if you want to save and not spend this summer. We’ve got the 411 on your savings with our 4.11% APY² 18-month certificate.
As always, we remain committed to providing our members with the highest level of service and support – helping them soar Upward. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our products and service, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions. We also really appreciate your friend, family, and coworker referrals.
