A couple of weeks ago on September 1st, I celebrated my one-year anniversary as the CEO of Upward. As quickly as the last year has flown by, I have enjoyed every moment of it. From working with members one-on-one to working with the staff and volunteers on new endeavors, I’m looking forward to many more years of soaring Upward!
Over the past couple of months, I’ve heard some concerns about the discontinuation of the former external transfer and Pop Money features. It is important for us to deliver a new product that is fully functional and integrated with all our platforms, and I’m pleased to report we are working diligently to launch some new things in the coming months that will wow your expectations.
Upward is excited to announce the complete deployment of three brand-new ATMs at Sequoia Hospital, Mills Medical Center, and Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. These ATMs will provide more reliable service than their predecessors, and Mills Medical Center and Mills-Peninsula Medical Center remain as deposit-accepting ATMs. All three are also on the CO-OP Network of over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
Look for details about International Credit Union Day on October 19th, and what we will be doing to celebrate the international cooperative spirit of credit unions next month. This is always a great way to show how we support our communities globally. Also, keep your eyes out for specials Andy may toss out throughout the month of October to celebrate.
