Hello, friends, members, staff, and volunteers. First, I would like to introduce myself, I am Jason Mertz-Prickett and on September 1st, after months of preparation, Linda White passed the torch of President and CEO to me. Her decades of steadfast leadership and dedication to the Credit Union and our members will never be forgotten. Please join me in wishing her nothing but success in her next chapter as Executive Director of the Credit Union Women’s Leadership Allianceopens in a new window. We’ll miss you, Linda!
Over the last five years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know some of you, and I look forward to getting to know more of our amazing members. Please feel free to stop in and say “hi” next time you are in the branch.
Change is a necessary outcome of progress. Some changes are challenging, but they allow for constant improvement. Over the coming months, don’t expect major changes like a rebrand or new logo. Instead, the changes will start internally as we challenge ourselves to look for new and better ways to improve our financial well-being. As we work on our systems, culture, and processes, you will continue to see the same familiar faces ready to help you continue to Soar Upward.
Starting this month, we have adjusted our Burlingame office hours to better serve you and return to a pre-COVID level of service. Starting on the 12th, we will now be open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Mondays and Fridays, and 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
In a couple of weeks, management and volunteers will convene for our annual planning session on a Saturday morning. We plan to look toward 2023 and beyond, laying the foundation for our continued success and ways to better serve you, our members.
As always, I welcome feedback and your thoughts, you can drop an email hereopens in a new window, or call 650-231-1300 and ask for me. I look forward to leading the Upward family to continued success.
