What do I need in order to use Upward CU's Online Branch?

You must first complete registration from a PC, Mac, mobile phone or tablet. You can access home banking directly from our home page or through the latest version of the app from your iOS or Android device.

Registration

To start the registration process, all you need is your member number and the last four of your social security number. You will then create a user name and secure password.

Recommended Browser Settings

Please note : To avoid being prompted to enroll again for Enhanced Security, you must keep your browser cookies. Additionally, any time you have a browser upgrade, your cookies may be set to clear out and you may be prompted to enroll again with a new security code that can be texted, emailed or called to you.

What types of accounts can I view with Online Banking?

You are able to view all of your Upward CU accounts including savings, checking, certificates, IRAs, and loans.

If I make a transfer or withdrawal, how soon are the funds transferred or taken from my account?

The Online Branch is in “real time”, which means that as soon as you complete a transaction the results can be seen immediately by viewing the Account History screen.

What is Bill Payment?

Besides obtaining account and loan information, you can use the Online Branch to pay your bills. All you need to do is enter the payee’s name, the amount to be paid and if the payment is recurring or a one-time payment.

What constitutes an eligible payee?

You can pay anyone in the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) for both personal and business reasons. You can pay your babysitter, your VISA bill, or even yourself. You may not be able to pay businesses outside of the United States, or government agencies, such as the IRS.
